downloaded wmv files help

Can someone help me, sometimes when I download video thats in wmv file format, some work normally others seem to "play" in fast speed. Any ideas?

Right click the link and select save target as... or in firefox save link as.

Which player are you playing it in. Maybe you should give Media Player Classic a chance. I bet it will play you file as usual.

On the link that takes you to watch it in windows media player go ahead and right click the link and click save target as, thats if your using internet explorer that is.

The problem could be the file itself. Try running the same video file with a different player. If the result is the same it is the file that is the culprit. In that case download a new copy.
