i prefer CS2 still as i m acquainted with it. and i don't bother to use new features. those in CS2 are enough for me.

All Cs3 is better layout and a few more tools. I would say stick with cs2.

System requirement for Photoshop CS3 is much more than Photoshop CS2 as CS3 has many more options. If your system configuration is good use CS3 otherwise stick with CS2.
