<HI> and Search Engine Optimization doubt

HI I need advice from Expert Search Engine Optimization, I have a wordpress blog. And the the banner has a big text as I have read that It will help in my SE ranking.Then I was planning to change it into pure images banner for a good display.

I was planning to hide it in CSS.

Can this affect my Search Engine Optimization ranking? BTW my blog is in my signature.

Is the text inside of the banner, like a graphic?

well, you have to sacrifice either of one, good display which pleases users, or big letters mostly in <h1> tag which are good for SE

You should use the image for the banner and include the h1 tag in the CSS underneath in the image. It will help you to hid the text but at the same time search engines will be able to see it.

I'm also with the venessa's thought, as you don't need to sacrifice any of it, but still can benefit a lot from it!
