I doing affiliate for some product using Adwords.
I set up compaign 3 days before. I have really niche keywords for my product. But i am not able to get into first of google due to 0% CTR. Even if i increase bid for my (one of rarely typed) keywords to $1, i get it displayed only on second page. Is there any way to get it displayed on first page other than bidding the keywords for $3 or $4. Thanks |

Start off trying to be on the bottom of the first page, around #7. If after time you find that you're making a killing and don't mind paying twice as much per customer, then think about moving up.
Make your ads relevant to the searches. Use the search term in the ad. Always use ad variation. Try different ads. It is a good idea to experiment with different ads and see if your click through rate goes up or down. Track your sales & have relevant landing pages. Use a clearly defined heirarchical adgroup structure. Always bid in the tail, don’t bid in the content network. |

Getting top ranking google adwords has become like a mirage these days unless you have huge money on your side. Almost all keywords have become very costly these days. The best way to go forward is by targetting very less used keywords or spelling errors!
