Default Google requets Adsense Publisher to Use 300x250 Medium Rectangle Ad space

On 25th of this month, Google sent a generic email to many adsense publishers requesting to add a 300x250 medium rectangle adsense box on websites. I have not received any such email because may be I am already using it since few months. Did you receive such email from Google?

Edit: Please excuse the spelling mistake in the title of the thread.

I remember receiving that email. I also remember it wasn't necessary to put it up. They were just offering it as a tip.

That's a pretty ugly size. 120 vertically or horizontally fits better IMO.

Okay, disregard my last comment about the ugly size.

Setting up a new site and used 250x250 and it fits pretty good.

Guess it all depends on the layout of the page.

I feel that this format is more converting only for blogs and news related sites rather than general sites. I dont use this format at all i use the regular full banner for the google ads on top of the page and half banner in between the article and verticle banners.
