Default Something odd at google?

I've noticed over the past few months that on many sites, Google is the main sponsor when you see Google ads. Could they be running out of advertisers? It's the law of supply and demand, they have too much inventory and not enough demand, however, their prices are still too high. Doesn't make much sense.

I dont think it is an issue on the number of advertiser, but it is an issue of heavily promoting their own products

Check your keywords. They could be all related to Google. Try to tweak your articles and check if the same ads appear. Or you might as well update your site contents.

I have noticed it too on my blogs, however if the content is related to something commercial product, says cosmetics etc, then Google shows all contextual ads instead of "Get Paid to Blog with Google Adsense" ad.

I don't think Google is loosing advertisers because it is literally impossible at the moment as advertisers get best conversion with adwords than any other advertising.
