Default Googles literacy portal

What do you think of the new literacy portal Google just created?

BBC NEWS | Technology | Google launches literacy portal

I think it's great that it is supposed to connect all different literacy organizations together to make it easier for teachers and students alike to find great information. Google is doing great things on this front IMO.

I'm always happy to see Google's innovative motivation. They keep coming up with great ideas and coming out with great services.

Well, it's great but does it really do anything special? I mean, it looks like Google is trying to make something for everyone, and in this case they may even be trying to win favor with teahcers after the whole book copying stunt, but does this tool offer teachers anything they couldn't already get with Google? Oh... you mean I can search the web? LOL. You mean I can use maps?

Seriously...

I think Eric makes an important point. It seems Google isn't creating any new services here, they're just reorganizing some of their services under a new name.
