Is Google G-Mail Good?

Is g-mail any good?
The fact that I can't simply sign up irks me a little and makes me curious about it.

Is it any good?
Does any one want to send me an invitation code so I can find out for myself?

I LOVE gmail! I've got about 10 accounts and use the hell out of them. The pop3 access is solid, and I love how it lets you add other e-mail addresses so that you can send from any address you want.

loove gmail. after it bacame popular, yahoo (free) mail increased it's mail capacity (per user). still, i like gmail better :) i'm using one of my yahoo account as a garbage/spam collector

I personally don't like it, I use to but too much spam. I am rather surprised too, I would imagine that Google would have top notch anti spam tools.

I haven't faced much problem with spam on Gmail...some setting of yours incorrect?

I figure only about 10% of my mail is spam with Google. I get a LOT of e-mail so that 10% is quite a bit. Most of it just pumps into the spambox though.
