Default Google Adsense Search on Your Site

Has anyone integrated Google Adsense Search results into you website?

Inside AdSense: Search no further than your own site

It is very easy if you have a static site. However for wordpress, it does take some doing.

Didn't get you?

Well, Google Adsense Search lets you get paid if users search and click on ads on the search results page

I'm getting ready to put this into play on one of my sites. We'll see how it goes.

I have never used them because for the sites that I do use adsense on they would not work well and I do not think they would make me a profit but I have seen a lot of sites with them.

I think it depends on how well you blend it in with the site and make it look like your own. A lot of users now have search bars in their browsers, so using one on a random website is of little use to them.

That is ture, but even from when I remeber being new to the internet a long while back I never even used on of those search bars so I dont think that new users today would use them.
I can see where you are coming from with this bleding because then I am sure more people will go and type in something that they are looking for but that is a bit like tricking them.

What I mean by blending, is that you actually need to make it look as if it's specifically made for your niche.

If I had a site that sold blankets and I had a search engine that looked like it would search the blanket industry instead of the entire web, chances are higher that the user will opt to take advantage of my search feature.

I've done this before and got a few clicks but nothing big. Hopefully with a little more attention to these details I can raise my CTR.
