How often does PageRank update? I've heard it's only about four times a year, if so it should really be more often surely.

yes, it is true, 4 times an year more or less, there should be one soon

That means if you are looking to advance get a lot of traffic to your site soon so you cna get a last push before they go and set your Page Ranking untill the next update. To me PR is pretty tricky.

It is updating every 3 months, so correct 4 times a year, its last update was last july, so basically this october maybe 13 or higher dates will be the next update, so better do some work before the update comes.

I think 4 times a year is the most accurate number, also they don't have static dates to update the page ranks. the coming one should be soon, so you should start wprking on your website.

You should work on your sites all the time IMO, not just when the time of a Page Ranking update is near.

Good point. Visitors come to your site because of the content on it and that increases your traffic rank.

They don't visit your site because you have a higher pagerank.

Yes, I've seen websites with Page Ranking 6-7 with few visitors. But that's good Search Engine Optimization techniques at work :)

I agree with that very much! I just try to make great sites, with great visitors. The rest will come on its own.
