getting a high ranking page in google is just a short time is being penalized by the engine, even though the system of google in terms of Search Engine Optimization friendly links doesn't mean that you will instantly gain that high ranked page.
Google sandbox basically will just put your site away from the top search for around 2-3 months or at least before or after a Page Ranking update, but the links you put in or the links that are coming in to your site just somehow will not be considered, this may return but your page is somehow deep into engine. Actually, you can't do nothing else unless you make a fair play and build links and content on the time your site was in the sandbox, quality links are important, but buying links say thousands in a short time and your domain is just a few months old is not a good thing to make. |

Sandbox, is just a filter, a filter that keeps a check on the new sites that are trying to over come competition pretty fast.
It does exist, and it gets activated when a new site tries to over power an old site by targetting a very competitive keyword and that too from the scratch, which can be detected from the anchors used in the backlinks. The sites that stand at top SERPS have worked real hard and have come up on top after a long time with constant struggle, and whena new site tries to do it, its considered as a shortcut.. and hence filter trips in.. So in that scenario, long tail keywords are helpful..as once the site starts to Show up with them, then slowly competetive terms can be used.. |
