I'm not sure if this its on right place but lets try.
I joined to google adsense and got an email saying i was aporved. I've already added some banners on my website, but how am I sure its working?I mean a friend of mine said he clicked on them but i got no earn at all. any help on how it exacly works? plus, on "my account" tag, at the bottom, I see somthing like :"property info" then something like this: AdSense for Content: AdSense for Search: Referrals: and some numbers, what's that for exactly? I'm really new with this, and i tried to follow what the tutorial said, but for some reason i didn't earn any money yet when website got clicks. Does it takes some time? Well I'd just like to know how ir works. thanks =)

Well first of all, please make sure your friend isn't clicking them just to be clicking them. People like me spend a lot of money on Adwords and we would rather not have to pay for clicks just so that someone can see if it works.
Secondly, Google tracks IP's and the chances are they've either concluded that because it is someone close by and it was the first few clicks that the clicks are not valid, or, the keywords that are being bid upon by people like me are paying so low that Google doesn't feel like sharing any of the profits. This happens. It all depends on the ads that are displaying. The ads for content are the ones that display just like the banner at the top of this page. For search is when you put a Google search box on your site, someone uses it to find info, and they end up clicking a sponsored ad. Google shares this profit with you. Hope this helps! |

Not bad. Not bad at all. BUT, you may want to consider moving them up a bit. Find a spot where they can be seen pretty quick. Also, you might want to let them rotate between image ads and text ads. I refreshed a few times and didnt get any image ads. With your kind of site I think image ads would work pretty well. You might have already done this, but I didn't see any.
Nice site! You've got some work to do, but I think you're headed in the right direction. |

or maybe the possibility that a public service ads appear when your friend click it? If that is the case, you will not recieve any earning on it. Another thing, you just got approve on that day but there are already clicks? Just to warn you that google also tracks those invalid clicks and you may got banned from them if this one continues.

Yes, and make sure you have the whole publisher id listed otherwise only public service ads will appear.
(Great advice erictheblue!)
