People say It's not difficult to earn money, but one has to work hard.

But I see a lot of posts on this forum from people having a really hard time generating an income online.

The statistics both online and off is that 95% of people fail when setting up their business.

Some one say that it hard accomplishing their goal while others tell that the number one reason people fail in MLM, is because of training so they don't know what they are doing.

Do you have any other opinion?

Some people don't have the patience to wait for such success and have to put food on the table and keep that roof above their head.

Well, online is a new territory for most people. Realize that most business owners are over their 30’s and they haven’t grown up with the net. Second, a lot of people are much more careful and wary of business opportunities on the net after the dotcom bubble burst of the 90’s and because of current sophisticated scams.

There are so many spammers online. So, it is quite difficult to run a online business successfully. You must be very much careful. That is my suggestion.

Just hire staff to take care of spam. also, using captcha isn't a bad idea.

Well the thing is, a lot of my business have failed, or are yet to succeed, however, I have not invested a lot of money in them, but quite a lot of time. For me the reason is, that I know how to make a website, but I don't know how to market it. But I'm a cheap bastard and I don't like paying for training.

I think a lot of it is because like you said. They do not know what they are doing. It will take some time to make a profit off of a website buisness. As my self. I am doing a webpage buisness. But I pretty much know what I am doing.

Maybe, people don't like to study about web businesses because they are already familiar and exposed to stuff about real life businesses and see them as more reliable source of income.

Its not hard to make money online but sometimes the work done and money obtained are not in proportion. in starting phase of web based business it can take a while to grow it sufficient to make decent money and u ll have to work patiently till that.
Don't forget that many new people are also entering in as some are moving out.
