I am wondering on how to motivate my team for more and how should I make the work environment more lively and interesting? What activities could possibly increase the productivity & efficiency?

Threaten to fire them :) That should give them a fire-start jump. Besides that, its all about workplace culture. If you have a culture of putting the customer first, and attending to their every darn need, you are in the money. Not to mention, pay your team more money. Sorry for the terrible puns :)

Offer some kind of an incentive. An increase in pay is great motivation.

The best way is to have staff parties and make it seem like you care for them. If you didnt anyway. lol

Be sensitive to the needs of your team members. Be supportive. Recognize good effort. Provide rewards for a good job. Open an avenue for their growth professionally and spiritually.

Teamwork is very importance. You should talk to each other to get more information. To gain their influence, you must have knowledge and honest whatever you promise to them.

Staff parties are cool but then they get too comfortable and so do you.
It gets more difficult to fire them and what not, if they screw up.

Nothing can motivate a team than money, giving incentives to them when the work was done perfectly and you get more profit, try to pay them more but not above the limit. I personally feel that only money can motivate a team nothing else!

Set the target to your teams. If they have acheives the target they will get the incentives and bonus. This can motivate them to acheive your target

Money has always been the best motivation factor to all working people. You give good pay to them, then they are willing to contribute more to the company.
