I have this site, that recently jumped from a PageRank of zero to 3 - PR3. I am presently running just Google Adsense ads on it, but have been lately thinking of selling ad space. What do you think is a good rate to offer for selling adspace? I would be placing the ads on the left hand side of the page, and it would be shown through out the site.

for PR3 you can't really expect somebody to pay for advertising only because of the pagerank, PR3 is to easy to get, sorry for the bad news

Yeah sorry to break the bad news but you need a lot more than Page Ranking. Say for example daily hits and other factors.
Thank You

diddy1 is correct, price may increase if you have tons of traffic and content, so even if it is a PR3, the price will surely increase. but speaking as only PR3 and just sitting there, then maybe only few will care to buy in a few dollar. but try to sell on TLA.

I'm not sure. But sources say that if you would like to gain immediate Page Ranking, you have to exchange link with those higher PRs. If you this link exchange, your PR is one rank less than the PR of the site you exchanged with.

If it's a site that is getting a lot of traffic, or is up and coming, or is relatively alone in the niche, then you can charge more. If it's a regular old "hit everything under the sun" blog then you won't be able to charge as much.
