I guess it's because of the nature of the business, Robert. Today companies are petrified of saying or doing the wrong thing so everything tends to get jammed up with legal...where before you'd just push a new plan forward, now everything has to be triple checked by legal before the company makes a move. It is sad.

for my offline business i have an attorney and i would not put a single signature without his blessing... he takes care of all my papers and stuff, but for online business - who needs it, unless u have a really huge company with employees and big money envolved.

Having a legal counsel becomes mandatory if I have big contracts that should be closely reviewed. Otherwise I can move on with my business . I will just need to make legal consultions if and when the need arises.
