The PSP Gets Updated..Again

The PSP has a new update out called version 2.80. To download via pc go PlayStation.com - PlayStation Portable - System Update

But before you rush here is what this new update promises:

You can now download video and image content under [RSS Channel].
You can now register devices via a wireless LAN access point under [LocationFree™ Player].

You can now play AAC files with the .3gp file extension.

[Automatic] has been added as an option under [Network [Infrastructure Mode].

Support for the playback of content stored in [MUSIC], [PICTURE] and [VIDEO] folders at the root level of Memory Stick Duo™ media has been added.

So go ahead and get PSP on!

I love Nintendo DS a lot more than PSP. That was the main reason I sold my PSP. Too much worthless updates.

You get the browser and everything else when you update it. But you can't play any homebrew apps past the 1.50 version.

I haven't got a PSP... but I'm really thinking about getting one. Would you consider it worth the price?

No PSP, had a DS which is cool, but i think PSP would have been rocked my life. :)

I think PSP will drop in price dramatically when PS3 comes out, or at least when this Christmas hits. I would wait to buy one till then.
