It probably won't fit and certainly won't work - you can't mix different types of RAM.
You can mix different speeds, though your motherboard will only run at the speed of the lowest chip, so sometimes it can be worth going with less RAM albeit at a higher speed. Old RAM is generally not much use at all these days unfortunately - even more frustrating given how much I spent on SD RAM over the years. |
