I hear rumblings of StarCraft2 due out this year.... will likely need a top end machine for that one, I am assuming...

command and conquer 3 should be coming out in a few months and i bet it would be as good as the others are, in the meanwhile you should try to play older games like zh or red alert 2 to see how playing such games is. if you are in to sports then try fifa (for new beginners) or pro evolution (for pro)

try world of warcraft burning crusade and command and conquer 3 (when it is out), other than that, you should try using GameSpot:Video Games PC PlayStation 2 Xbox 360 Wii PS3 GameCube PSP DS GBA PS2 PlayStation 3 and go find the best rated.
