And my favorite was Runescape which is a very addicting massive multiplayer online RPG.

You may not agree but a good online RPG is Final Fantasy XI online, its a great onlin game despite the criticism.

Theres always MMORPG's Guildwars is a good one and WOW but WOW costs each month and also City of heroes

1. World of Warcraft
only game you should be playing. I dont recommend playing Runescape, if you are going to play runescape might as well play world of warcraft, thats more addicting and better graphics and game play as well. the game never ends lol.

Runescape is not bad at all. People always whine about the graphics, but all I can say about those people is this - if your so shallow as to only care about graphics and not the content, I have no reason to converse with you.

It has a good game structure and a decent amount of things to do.
I do recommend Runescape.

Runescape is my absolute favorite and I would recommend it to anybody who can pay 5$ a month for the Members features.

Word of Warcraft is best RPG game I can think of, and I am pretty sure it will run under the system configuration mentioned by you. But not sure if its going to run in Vista...Win XP will be ok.

Gothic series is an excellent rpg series. If your computer runs it then I highly recommend Gothic 3, if not Gothic 2 is very good also, 1 too
