So, who got a PS3?

Did you buy it for you or to sell? Did you buy it at the store or from a lucky person who managed to get one? Did you wait in line? How much did it cost? Is it awesome?

I have been really tempted to buy one but I really don't see spending $2k just because a few people went crazy with the concept of supply and demand. When it gets back down to normal, I 'may' buy one.

I am going to wait no running my bank out just for playing games. You gotta admit the old saying "patience is a virtue" comes in play with all these crazy goings ons from people trying to get their hands on one.

When will all this madness end! This time around...there was a shooting when people were lined up for the game console! Not to get the console..but to take the money from those "crazy" people standing in line for hours...days even...just to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a piece of game-equipment that will be "inevitably" yesterdays' news within 6 months...

I think it's insane that these companies are constantly trying to one up each other. Can anyone just be happy with what they have these days?!

That's my 2cents!

just wait and buy when some of the early buyers returned their stuff cause of some bugs damaged unit.

Uh, no. It's a piece of crap. I know a dude who's trying to trade his for a Wii. Sony built up so much hype to the POS3, but like I said from the beginning, they're just a hype machine.

Oh, and a console's life span is 3 years, PC parts are 6 months (and shrinking :/).

If I had the money for a console, I'd go with an Xbox360 or a Wii. I'm a PC gamer anyway, so blah.

I have to buy the ps3.The actual amount of ps3 is $599 for 3GB.But I know some persons who are selling with the cost of $399 and $459...
