If you want members check their e-mail first before he/she can post in the forums, here's the full intstructions.
First, go to the Admin Control Panel. Now, find the category, System Settings. System Settings is the general settings of your forum while creating it. Now, find & click Security & Privacy. This is the general security of the forum. Now find "New registration email validation?". Your current option is "None". If you want members to see their emails, click "None" & you will see all the options. None, User Email Validation, and Admin Validation. Click User Email Validation. But if you want admins to see their emails, click Admin Validation. If you don't want anyone to see their emails before posting, click your current, "None". After you pick one, click Submit Changes. I hope you understand it. :) |
