Banning loved members.

Have you ever had to ban one of your best members? Someone that the community loves?

I had to do this more than once and got flamed everytime.

If banning is about enforcing the forums rules and regulation, then it should be fine. You're just doing your job in putting order to the forum. It should not be taken personally by the members.
