People can pay you with PayPal by credit-card without an account. Unfortunately, they can't get subscription through PayPal. Couldn't you just have them manually pay to renew their subscription?

If you are located in European country, I would recommend chronopay, they provides everything you need to accept and process payments by credit and (some) debit cards online.

If you're feeling uncomfortable with the Paypal, then I recommended you to use, either the AlertPay or Moneybooker.

The above two online payment processors are the preferred choices, after the Paypal because of their fast and efficiency customer services.
