There are 2 types of cart available in market.
1. Free
2. Paid

Which one is good to user for security reasons?

For obvious reason, it is much safer to use paid shopping cart. Their source codes are not available for scrutiny. Besides, support is available from the vendor.

You can get good support for free software. Just look at PHPbb and other things like that. You can also have some very secure free software. Fire Fox ring a bell?

Find a cart with the features you want. You'll be able to tell if it's safe enough to use or not by seeing how many people use it.

I would suggest you go in for the paid cart as it will be secure and you can charge them if they don't function properly,free sounds tempting but why would someone offer free services on the internet without any interests.

I paid for my cubecart, and I am quiet satisfied with the stuff they offer. You should check it out when u have the time.

I suggest paid posting than free,bcoz free posting doent aloow every content to use.

Paid is obviously better in most cases, but there are some free carts out there that are very good you just have to do more resreach.

In my own opinion, I will suggest you to use the paid shopping cart service.

The reason is there is much more secure and the customers feel more confident to purchase in your site, when you're using the paid service than the free type.
