I'm looking to develop a site selling digital goods and would like to set up a website with a fully functioning cart system. Initially we will be stocking around 50 items though the scope extends well into the hundreds so need plenty of room to expand if things take off.

The budget isn't particularly large but I am prepared to pay for this if there is a good system out there. I need something that is easy to install, easily customised, and most importantly, secure. I plan to accept payment via PayPal and a credit card via something like 2CheckOut.

Any carts spring to mind that check all the boxes? Any thoughts are much appreciated.

I have used oscommerce in the past for download sites and am considering giving zencart a shot for my next site that features downloads.

Ecommercetemplates is the best shopping cart. They are having a standard of coding and security is also too good. Very easy to modify the designs and coding too..

I used OScommerce before and was pretty much satisfied with it,

IMHO Oscommerece is quite good especially if you have a low budget, counteless e-commerce business sites are using oscommerece
