I needed to start another thread for this.. Consider XYZ bank has one of its branches in US/Canada and also where i'am living and XYZ online payment system does bank wire transfers in US/Canada ( most online payment systems do that ).. Then i open an account for that bank here and do a wire transfer to the US/Canada branch in my account and collect my money from here.. Is this possible or i'am wrong somewhere?

Shouldn't be a problem from what I'm reading. That is, if I'm reading it right. Just make sure it's less than $10,000. If it's more, the feds are going to be notified.

as long as you know how to do it, no problem with it, as stated by eric, there are some limit restricted due to money laundering, so be sure to not to exceed.

No actually i just comfirmed this, according to them the account is only available at the branch where the registeration for the account was done.. If we have a registered account in one of the branches somewhere else than that account won't be available in their branch at US :( .. How come I always come up with stupid ideas

That sounds absurd. I have a bank account in New Zealand and do wire transfers often.

Maybe you hav'nt understand the situation correctly.. i have a bank account in a bank whos one of the branches is in US.. but its just comfirmed that my account can only be used in the same branch where i registered for it.. not even other branches here.. If you have an account in New Zealand then offcourse a wire transfer can be done :)

Thats the only bank having a branch here and in US .. changing this bank won't help!

Well, after all I think bank wires are ususally used to transfer big amount of money, a lot of fees are involved in such transactions.
