My question in this thread is basically, why the price difference is so big between country domain extensions and common domain extensions? I was interested in buying one of them, but I'm not so sure anymore.
Very good question, I have wondered the same as well. I can only speculate but maybe it has something to do with the country itself having a say in the price of the domain?
Probably because they're so specific and have been developed to bypass the restrictions on character allowances in hostnames, making it easier for users of non-English alphabets to use the Internet.
