Default 1and1.com

I try not to go for the really cheap ones. Who knows where it's hosted.

I've been with directnic for 5 years then I tried yahoo. Yahoo, by the way, is the worst.

Now I'm happy with 1and1.com I think I have 20 domains with them.

$5.99 per domain.

I use 1and1.co.uk as well as Ukreg.com

I presonally like UKReg the best tho! - I feel they offer more control over your domains... but thats my personal opinion! :)

I'm a 1&1 user myself - domains, and shared linux hosting.

1and1 is just plain awful from what I've heard. I guess you haven't had to deal with their customer support.

I have never used them but I have heard a lot about them I have even read a few ads in mags about them which was pretty cool to see. I just prefer to go with godaddy or a site that a firend owns but I am going to have to look into them becasue it is a hell of a lot cheaper then I am paying now.

1and1 only accepts US or Canada citizens for any kind of registration. Have you tried transferring a domain from them?

I haven't heard much bad about their domain scenario, but not heard good things about their shared hosting.

never used them for domain registration and hosting services, but seems will not shift on registrar unless the option goes with e-gold.
