Do you think adding an Image verification step in your directory submission page is important?

i dont think it is of any use at all, it is just annoying, but many sites have it now days.

image verification is the one where letters are put in form of image to stop bots from auto signing up right? it makes big sites feel safe because people would try to signup with bots just to slow down the site etc, but depending on your site, you might not need it at all.

you could try without and see what happens, if people begin spaming with bots, then you could always make a quick update.

for small directories image verification is not needed.......if your site gettin more hits.....then go for image verification....

Yes... This means that a robot is not doing it. If you have image verification, then someone will not submit a website constantly.

You have to verify 1 URL. If you have hundreds of the same URL submited, then you have more work. That is why we have image verification
