Default The best CMS script

What is the CMS script you think is the best, I am using joomla on one of my site, never updated it yet but its a great script, you just need to have some trick and some plug-ins to make it work the way you want to.
There are others you can choose also for cms, like drupal, phpnuke and others.

imo Joomla is one of the best CMS around. The most important thing to CMS is that it must be customizable and secure.

phpnuke is great but the security is really bad. Last time, my phpnuke website used to get defaced all the time. It's hard to keep up with the number of patches available..

I've heard good things bout Drupal but i've never try it before.

Drupal is definitely one up on Joomla, but Joomla is a lot easier to use than Drupal.

Have tried both and decided that CMS is not for me.

WordPress is what I plan on using if I really need a CMS. With a bit of tricks it can function perfectly as one.

I think joomla is the one for me, it is so easier to handle and so customizabl, so you would place your own touch. It really do it for me.

When I tried Joomla, I didn't like it. Right from the start, it would display a news update in a small box in the side bar, but the news story was bigger than the box, and it just clipped off. No scroll bar or anything.

Hi Scott

This is where patience becomes a virtue. The Joomla modules can be created/modified quite simply - when you know how! I have found in the past 6 months I have been dissecting various templates for Joomla and the CSS is part of the key to getting the site the way you want it.

I have even started to create my own simple modules in order to make best use of the various module positions that can be used within Joomla. I guess a real coder would just backwards engineer some of the other modules and write their own scripting :)

I see that Joomla 1.5 beta is now released. I may have to start testing that and see what the benefits are :)

Cheers for now

I like Joomla. Once you get everything set up right it makes adding new content a breeze.

Doesn't impress me. It seems they are using a lot of code from etomite.org
