I don't know why but I started using Serendipity and I've been using since I can remember. I've tried switching to Joomla but it took too much time. I'd rather stick to what I've gotten used to.

Thank You

Do not underestimate Wordpress as a CMS. IMHO it is better than Joomla! in many ways. WP has less clutter and offers greater control over coding and template modifications as compared to Joomla. I used Joomla for about two years and I managed to master the Joomla templating system, but just recently, after two years of skeptisism about WordPress, I finally switched over from Joomla to WP. I am completely satisfied with Wordpress so far, esp. with all the plugins and mods that are available. The Edit-n-Place plugin totally kicks ass and is ideal for any site because you can edit pages without leaving them (using XMLHttpRequest).

Anyways, Wordpress IS better than Joomla in many ways although most people underestimate (like i used to) the use of WP as a powerful CMS.

One thing I really dont like about joomla is you cant paste php code into your content. There is mambots people have made where you can load the php code from another page so joomla does not reck the code but its very anoying.

Joomla and cutenews I think. Only that in joomla, there needs to be some components and extensions to be installed before you can fully use it.

It all depends on what the site needs to do. If you are looking to set up a blog, then Word Press or the like would be best. If you need to have something more robust, then something like Joomla would be the ticket.

For those who do not like Joomla, Stay tuned. I have a copy of the Beta 1.5 installed on my server and have played with it a bit. Nice stuff! Can't wait for the production release...

I'd say Drupal would be the best. Then next would be Wordpress or Joomla. Also phpnuke is nice, but it waste a lot of hosting space, i think about 11megs?

When it comes to genuine open source, Perl CMS scripts, I would recommend you to try WebAPP from: WebAPP CMS Script Support and Development ™(Official)

Joomla! is the best in my opinion. I've always loved working with it.
The templates are nice, along with the features.
It has a lot of flexibility and most sites that use it look very nice.
