I have to go with Intel.
Running a Core 2 Duo Extreme Edition and it's amazing. I get 100fps on CS:S and never lag on games or apps.

damn 50/50 after my vote. I prefer AMD for a few simple reasons.
value for money simplicity to understand. (i can understand how fast a 3800+ is, as opposed to an Intel 380 or something)
