anybody had the guts to try the BETA version? i was told that it LOOKS nice but it's so damn buggy. my roommate and i were standing at the bus stop one night talking about it and this other girl who's been sitting there for 25 minutes (as she told us) said she tried it but it kept giving her errors and telling her she needs to updat this and that and when she did, the damn thing completely crashed her computer! LOL. now she had to get new softwares and everything. hehe.
at which point my roomie said "when was it that 'Vista beta' became 'this doesn't work at all' ? " heehee i'm waiting for the full release.

that is basically the point, if you are not a Beta Tester and would not want to try things out of beta, then dont otherwise if something messed up, you dont know what to do, better yet wait for the full version then install and only if you like it.

i've used a couple of windows products that are beta... like the sql 2005 and VS .net 2005 (although the full version has been released now) and they were working fine... not all beta are synonymous to "it does not work at all"

all that changes on windows is visual axpect really, bugs and everything else never change at all. Oh forgot to say, there's always some new problem on each windows lol. I think vista requires too much, at least as i saw on a website, i just remember it needed 2MB of RAM memory, I'm not sure though
