Default has anybody tried the Vista beta version?

i heard that you have to have at least 1GB of memory to run this. holy sh*t. hehhehe. and this is just beta. is this different from longhorn?

The beta for Vista has been released to the public now. It looks cool, I haven't tried it out yet, though... The Office 2007 suite is amazing!

I used longhorn trial and got my PC into prob, but vista is best i heard it

I've tried it and th einstalls freezes after restarting so that's a big no no for me unless they get more driver support.

As far as I heard the MS had to change the name from Longhorn to Vista because of the Longhorn Stake House! ;) I'm serious. that's what I heard!

I believe Longhorn was just the project's code name. The official release name is Windows Vista.

Let me know if I am wrong on this.
