yeah, what is your favourite quality you love in Windows and make you like more than any other OS, or you just got it with your computer ?
for me I have to use windows as here in Egypt the percent of users maybe 99%, so I have to be part of the group. I have tried some others but couldn't change. |

Compatability is definitely the strongest point in using windows. It was 2 years after the release of Win95 before I touched anything GUI. I was a die-hard DOS guy till then.
Side point - can you imagine how fast dos apps would run on todays computers? Zing! Done!

i wouldn't really know what's so good about windows since it's pretty much the only OS i've used. i've heard good things about Linux though but since it is relatively new compared to windows, some softwares are not compatible.. although SW manufacturers are now making their products Linux compatible so that should solve the compatibility issue. i'd also like to try Mac but don't have the time to fiddle with it :)

Billy lose a customer? Ya, I'm sure he'd be really worried.
Waiter: "Would you like some desert, Mr. Gates?" Billy: "Better not! Alex bought a Mac, so I really can't afford it!" Hehehe....

I use linux for more than 6 years now, but I had to have windows for testing purposes. If you are ready to change you can but if you are not, well you are not.
I never was that kind of linux fan who talks bad things about other OS. Bill was smart and he was at the right place at the right time. You cannot blame him because of windows. In a matter of fact probably I'd have done the exact same thing The one thing I definitely like in Win that I can plug in my microwave and it's gonna say something is plugged in and/or Do you want to install a driver?
