Greetings...
As of late, Thunderbird has become very sluggish and resource intensive. I usually have it running all the time with a 5 minute mail check frequency. Each sync causes me to have to wait for my 12 or so email accounts to be checked. Bogs down my whole system. Then there's selecting the Thunderbird window. (Make a coffee and come back while it sorts itself out.) I'm just wondering if it's time to clean house and backup and remove all the messages so it's not sorting through so much. This is a pain as I often refer to old messages. I would have to restore folders to get what I need. Are there any backup management tools for TB? Something that would allow me to browse old messages without having to restore them?? Alternatively, I might seek a new mail client. Thoughts? (Before you ask... yes, I have updated anti-virus, etc)
