Windows XP home installed in my system at present. When we buy anything online then they ask for your credit card number and pin number and claim that our information in secure o their site. I just want to know that does any information is stored in my system also?? I am having Ccleaner in my system but still have some doubt.

Anything you do on your computer is automatically input into your computer. The only way to actually delete things are to do even more things on your computer. It's in your computers memory, like a human and just like a human, memories are there until another memory takes over.

I saw a video once on how to achieve data security on a laptop.
The guy took his laptop, put it on a tree stump and smashed to to bits with a sledge hammer. Once finished, he announce that his data was now safe from others. lol

Yeah, always clear your cookies and files and maybe even your history. Also have some kind of free firewall service like AVG or any of the other ones. Last of all have realtime protection against spyware and viruses so nothing can damage your information.

Use a firewall and good antivirus like nod32 or AVG. Yea like Subesh mentioned clear to cookies and history. Main thing is to keep your computer virus and spyware free if you use ur credit card for online purchases

Funny story. One day while I was accesing paypal I saw something from paypalobjects load and I thought I was hacked. After research, I found that paypal actually stores their images at paypalobjects and that it is a part of them. Had me astonished for a while.
