photoshops?

whats the best photo editing program you can download (free preferably!) I have got basic ones, but im lookin really edit some photos, to make people look better lol, pleez help its quite urgent, they need to be ready to put on some posters

Gimp is a good one. If you're cheap and you think PS is just way too complicated, Gimp is the way to go.

GIMP is the obvious answer. It is almost as professional is PhotoShop, I use it quite frequently under Linux platform.

GetPaint.net is pretty awesome though. Have you tried it? It's just like PS but free.

I wouls suggest Adobe photoshop CS3 by downloading the free trial from Adobe and if you like it then you should consider buying the full thing, it may be a bit expensive but its definately worth it!

Obviously as people have mentioned, GIMP would be the way to go. I use Photoshop CS2 myself though and recommend it if you can get your hands on it!

I think if you want the anything free like PhotoShop then getpaint.net is the best answer. I have benn using it for quite some time and I am very happy with it.
