i don't know about Ram for AMD processor but i heard that AMD processors are more faster than Intel processors, i am not sure it is truth or not but i will try to buy AMD Athelon processor. i know it is very good for playing games but i am a programmer so i will have to think about it.

AMD simply rocks....for me intel doesnt even come close.....i have 2 pc's and one has amd 4400+ dual core and another has 4200+ dual core...
both simply rock.....coupled with a decent graphics card i have great gaming experience.....UT 2004 demo got installed in only 6 sec.... that says all... |

in budget category AMD always rocks ,
they have godd combination of mobo+Proccy, & vast choice of motherboards having good IGP. even if u get 4400+ with a decent mobo like jeyway M2a GDG mobo, that would be an awesome config for budget games, |
