I'm not a big fan of it. I'd rather have seen Microsoft not push Vista on the public and let people stay with XP until a lot of the bugs have been worked out.

I thought it was a Mac OS the first time I used it. However it has been resource intensive thus the need to have the top of the line hardware. My XP can still respond to my computing requirements.

and you people..know what? the newer Macs support the Windows Vista OS!! yeah i actually saw this running in a store selling Apple products...

but i prefer MacOS on MAc systems..dont you think???

I upgraded from XP to Vista and Vista runs smoother and faster than XP did. Before you say I upgraded hardware not at that time I have sense then but not at that time. It really annoys me when people say Vista sucks when they can't get it to work right or when programs don't work it is not Microsoft's fault it is the drivers and software companies fault that stuff does not work on the OS. They were given Vista a long time before it was released to the public to make drivers and patches for their software to run on Vista.

...I recommend waiting for the Windows XP Service Pack 3 which is due to be released in early 2008...XP Rocks!!

Ya to bad after that Microsoft will drop support for XP. They have already announced that. Vista will take over within the year as most software coming out now is being designed for Vista itself not to mention games which are using the Vista only DX10 graphics on games that do work with Vista are loads better and I have found that my games run faster and smoother.

Vicrosoft Vista is really cool.... it is rocking on my system..... i have a better performance on vista when compared to that in windows xp..... better quality n performace am happy

Is that so, is Vista running better than XP, I have hear it have lots of issues!! Plus, compatible drives for old devices is not yet out :(

XP infact rules. Any new platform comes with its own set of problems and it takes a while before all of those are sorted out the the platform is commonly accepted in the computing fraternity.
