Default 533 Mhz RAM

I bought 2 sticks of RAM and it displays that it is 533Mhz. I really cant be bothered chasing them up and returning it, so can someone tell me how much performance I am losing by 533Mhz, rather than 667Mhz RAM?

I dont do any overclocking...

im not sure, but i dont think there will be that much of a big difference in preformance, the other ram sticks with 667 would ofcourse work faster, but as thedifference is abut 130mhz, im not sure how much that would affect.

whatever faster you can get, you should get, however if you arent planning on getting the faster ones then there shouldnt be much to discuss, it would be a bit slower, but you might not even notice it.

if you are a gamer, then get the faster one, if you just use the pc for normal net surfing and work, then you probably wont notice any difference.

its as simple as that . calculate (667-533)*8 . its the theoritical amount of datarate you are losing out per second while you are on the 533mhz version of ram

hope this works!

There is not that big change between 533Mhz and 667Mhz speeds of RAM.You cannot experience the difference at all . It you want to change your RAM - get a 800Mhz RAM.You can see the difference between them
