Hi,
laptop is preferred only by business people as they keep on travelling and it helps them to stay in contact with their business issues. But for students PC and for home applications only desktops is suitable. Last edited by josh123 : 06-18-2007 at 02:07 PM. |

Hey there,
I would still opt for a laptop. With wireless internet nowadays, you can actually move the laptop around the house. Imagine you could watch TV in your living room while surfing, surf while you eat dinner and god forbid surf while you are tkaing a crap!!! Cheers! |

in my opinion it depends what you need, i have a laptop for work purposes etc but i also have a desktop at home for which i play counter strike once and a while on as my laptop isnt made for games :)
if i had to choose it would be laptop, nothign better then chilling out on sofa watching tv while doing work :) |

laptops are good if ure constantly travelling or mobile, but if you stay at home, i would prefer buying a desktop because for the same price you would end up with a much better system
thats what i feel because i right now have 3 desktops and dont feel the need for a laptop currently.. |

Where did you pull that from? Students love having a laptop so they can take notes on it during class and so they can bring their computer with them when going to work on group projects.
That being said, I like having a desktop. It makes me leave the computer since I can't take it with me.
