My first computer was a 286 . The 286 had many fun games like Sim City a really fun RPG game and a War game that I played for hours on end. I don't remember how much RAM it had in it but it was no more than 1 mb. It did have windows 3.1 which had to be started from DOS man at the time I thought this computer was the greatest PC ever made LOL

The first computer I owned was:
OLD-COMPUTERS.COM : The Museum LOL, the hires graphics screen was 184 x 176px. Ran at a little over 1 Mhz with 5K of RAM (3583 bytes free after video and OS) I think wrist watches have more power these days. :)

My first computer was a Dell Dimension 4700. 2.8GHZ and 512MB Ram.
But my dads first PC was an IBM with a 500 mb Hard drive and I think one stick of 8MB Ram. The worst part is he spent over 2 grand on it. Edit: I just asked my dad and I was wrong. His PC had NO Ram.. it had a cache and the hard drive was only 40 MB Last edited by .Essence. : 05-27-2007 at 09:30 PM. |
