i use nod32. Well i keep switching between nod32 and kaspersky. they are both good, and i found them better than many others. either of those should be good if you need to choose.

i have used norton before (too slow and not useful) and now using panda, it has a weird way of doing things but still works fine i guess. i have heard that kaspersky is good too, just didnt try it.

i got panda with the pc, and just paying for it, i cannot say much about how good or bad it is compared to others because i have not tried others at all, but i guess i dont need to format my pc that often.

Could've sworn I already posted on this . . .
I use Avira Antivir PE Classic.
Lightweight, powerful and effective, and best of all FREE.
If I think I'm infected, I use Clamwin to give my PC a good scan.
I'd use it all the time, but it doesn't have real-time protection, which is to me one of the most important things about AV.
The only two AVs I have gripes with are Norton and McAffee.

As I mentioned above, it's the only scanner I have used in the last decade. Hasn't let me down yet...

There aren't many users of Antivir actually.
I was surprised when most of the people I told about it didn't know of it.

i use dr.web and it seems ok, at least it seems very light and detects viruses. i tried norton and never liked it, so wouldn’t say it is any good, but mcaffee was ok

I use McAfee.I recommend the anti - virus program because it monitors all the changes in the computer right from the registry to the temp folder.
