Forgive me if I posted about this already but I can't find the post if I did but bloggers who were lucky enough to get accepted by Blogitive are going to be able to comiserate with me on this one. It once was that you could get paid $5 US per blog entry for keywords and post up to 3 on one blog and write the same thing across different blogs so I could make $65 or $70 a week from them writing a few paragraphs and posting it across all my blogs. At the time I could write about what I wanted and merely put a paragraph on the bottom with their keywords and links and be done with it. Now, they'll only accept an entry about their topic, no posting that entry across multiple blogs (must be unique) and it's really made it complicated. I used to check three times a day for new offers on my blogs and now barely bother.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

It kind of makes sense for the advertiser though doesn't it? I use Blogitive as well and I too am finding it a bit of a drag trying to squeeze a post in, but I think the advertiser comes out a little better with these new guidelines.

Do you think so?
well, I guess you're right when you look at it from the advertiser's point of view (sigh.) I guess...but I still liked it better before. (lol)

Despite the new policies, I am still interested in starting with them. Are they still allowing people to sign up? I'd like to check it out.

Try http://www.blogtoprofit.com/
I was contacted by them to post on my blog. Not sure about them yet. You blog about topics they want to give you. They say $5/post and I have been offered 5 posts for now. They have a few categories, maybe you would like to give them a shot?

Yes Tucker, go to Bloggers - Blogitive.com
You need to be indexed in Google for them to accept you and you can register multiple blogs.

Thanks for the tip Ajay. I'm not taking on any new blog ad companies at the moment but will tuck this url away for future reference. Blogitive was unique for a while but many of these are popping up all over the place, huh?
Some say, blogs are too Sploggish these days. I didn't mind the old policy where I could put a sponsored ad on a blog entry I wanted but the new policy of completely commercializing my blog isn't what I want. I kept a blogger and bloggerparty blog active for those types of blogs but I don't think I'll do this on my writingup blog any more. I use my writingup blog like a freelance writer resume so I think the new way Blogitive wants the blog ads written takes something away from me when people look at my blog expecting an interesting article and read about greedy lawyers and rhinoplasty clinics. Just my opinion...
