I just sold a domain name I had for about 4 years to a larger company and got $4,000 for it... not bad considering I wasn't really using it anymore.
What is the most you got for a domain name? |

For a domain it's self? $2,000.00 but that was almost 10 years ago. Haven't really sold a domain itself since then. As for a website, in the high 6 figures.

Yeah I have never sold a domain name by itself. I sold a website that I had for a couple of years for about 12k but that's about it.
I did get an offer about two years ago for one of my domain names but they were offering like $500 for it so I passed. |

The best I have ever gotten for a domain is $6500 and that was with a tug and a pull and a slight need for a cash influx.
But now I'm quite happy about it as the market for that particular niche subsided greatly. Have also sold a number of them for 1500-3000 but a majority of them were 5 or more years ago. |
