How does Technorati know which websites are blog and which ones are not? Does it search for RSS?

When you submit your site you need to log into it and use their claim code. I think it only works properly with blogs.

They have RSS search and find it from there about the sites whether they are blogs or not. Jerlene is eight that they work fine with blogs but they have problems with other sites.
