I think that between CPA networks comission junction is the best. look at how many companies registered with them. But you must be a big publisher to make some good money with them, they will accept you anyway, but you need high traffic, lots of unique visitors to make them participate in an offer. As most of the companies request a lead or a sale and in return they will gie you a really good share.
Their market is so big so make sure you choose the right offers to promote.

Cj is the main network I use just because they have a lot of affiliate programs to join and their admin section is easy to use. I don't however like the fact they are making users switch to using javascript links. I even signed a petition against it here CJ Javascript Link Petition | Jangro - Affiliate Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, etc. Heavy on the etc.

Personally I prefer ClickBank, I find it easier to push the products on ClickBank.

I don't know if Google's program will kill other networks. Many affiliate marketers like to work with more than one program at a time anyway.
